...least for a certain mouse), orlando really does offer the family everything they could possibly desire for a summer get away.
Orlando as a city is blessed with the typical floridian weather of gorgeous sunshine and clear blue skies. this is the weather for most of the yr round although you should do your best to avoid hurricane season at all costs, as from my experience, this can lead to the dampening (quite literally) of the enjoyment of your holiday.

In regards to theme parks we have the Disnay theme parks (Magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot and Animal Kingdom) and the Universal theme parks (Universal and Island of Adventures) and Seaworld. plus all of the water parcs including the four situated in Disney and the famous wet n' wild. these attractions all have deals going on throughout the year and you can get combo ...

Advantages: Exciting and lots to do! Disadvantages: Very expensive and busy!
I have now visited Orlando twice in my life once when I was 9 and then again last summer when I was 20. My memories of Orlando from when I was 9 were amazing, and I had such a magical time that I locked myself into a toilet cubicle on the day that we were leaving. Therefore, I was slightly worried about returning, and spoiling my childhood memories with what I imagined to be a significantly more cynical opinion of the tourist hotspot....this was ... ...unmissable! Eating-out in Orlando can be as cheap or as expensive as you like, with thousands of places to chose from! There are a wide range of all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants, which are brilliant and cost just $10 for an adult. I was in Orlando in August, however I do not believe this to be the best time of year to visit in terms of weather. It was definitely very hot and humid, but the weather seemed to follow a general pattern each day whereby ...

As for eating in Orlando you will find food cheap and plentyful. Buffets are cheap and the choice is endless. Breakfast is also in the buffet style again and will keep you filled untill the evening.
Shopping is excellent and Outlet malls are in most areas. You can save upto 50% over UK prices so don't pack the case too full because you will end up buying a new one.
Just remember is was all started by a man, a mouse, and a dream. So have ...

My experiences of Orlando have changed my views during the past 20 years. My first visit was in 1987 and I couldn't fault it. However, I have returned several times and each time I notice it declining. The family restaurants that I once enjoyed have become dull and have reached poor quality. To enjoy a decent meal you have to visit the more upmarket restaurants which works out expensive. The atmosphere and appearance seems dull and dirty not at all ... ...away from Orlando itself I managed to spread my sightseeing further afield. For instance a trip to Melbourne beach (about an hour's drive from Orlando) made a change too. I would avoid September in future as each time I visit during this time it did nothing but rain. ...

Magic Kingdom is the famous one, with the castle, plenty of rides and shows, real good mix of adult rides and stuff for the kids. You can have character breakfasts, there's the daily parades (the night one is awesome and the fireworks are fantastic) and various other things going on. Orlando - The state of Florida - I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have every had - where holidays are concerned ,anyway. I was a little apprehensive about going there with my youngest daughter, who was still in her buggy. They say that "a child goes missing everyday in one of the theme parks", and I believe that to be true. The whole family went along - My parents, brother and his two boys, myself and my partner, plus my three ... ...board. Once in Orlando it was late afternoon. We went and picked up the two people wagon's and were warned to stay on the main roads as there were alot of car hijackings, mainly on tourists and it is easy to see who is a tourist when you arrive, obviously, as you have all your luggage packed in the cars with you. What did we do we? - got lost of course. It took us over an hour to find our way back to the main highway which is a road called the 192.

If you’re into hillwalking, snow or lonely islands, there’s probably better places for you than Orlando, Florida.
However, the sunshine state has something for everyone who likes to be entertained. Apart from the Disneyworld Parks, there are also waterparks, Universal Studios, Gatorland, and a whole lot of other exciting things to do. My advice is not to try and do everything in one go – you never will. If you’ve got kids, Disneyworld is the obvious ... ...whole park without missing something.
There is quite a choice of accommodation in Florida too. There are the expensive hotels, the travelodge type apartments, and also many houses let out to visitors. Although it’s best to book somewhere before you go, you’ll probably find something in Kissimee, which is just a short drive from all of the attractions mentioned above.
The sun is hot in Florida – don’t underestimate the barbequing powers it has on ...

3 years ago I went to Turkey on Holiday. It was an absolutely unknown quantity to me before I went but I came back hooked and long to return. I went in June during a Turkish heatwave in which even the locals cowered in the shade during the day. Being a mad brit, I braves the pool and beach, of which the pool was by far the best. The local Marmaris beach is not all that nice so If you are a beach person, give this one a miss. If you do like the beach, ... ...a 4 hour boat trip from Marmaris. Its a whole day event that leads you to a beautiful beach separating the sea and freshwater. The beach gets its name as a spwning ground for Turtles which can be seen at night. People are not allowed on there after Dark so that the turtles do not get disturbed. Once there, there is a short trip through the freshwater area, through big bullrushes and palms until you reach the hot natural spring and mud bath. A bit ...

Orlando has to be one of the greatest cities on earth! It has everything, along with the rest of Florida. I went there around 4 years ago when I was only 14. I remember nearly everything about it to this very day. It has absolutuely everything for everyone. We stayed a week in Orlando where all ages can enjoy the Disney theme parks, and others such as Sea World and The Kennedy Space Station, which is a fair way north of Orlando. But take your kids ... ...is comfortable as Orlando is outside the tropics. There are loads of water parks such as Wet and Wild and smaller attractions like The Crocodile Park. There are an amazing number of clothing stores where you can stock up on quality goods at a much lower price compared to "rip-off Britain". You can also fill your stomach whilst you are over there as the food is dirt cheap and usually of a good quality. In our second week we stayed in Naples, in the ...

Living in Orlando for years gave me plenty of time to taste what the city has to offer, so for those who are heading down, take note of this great restaurant (and ease off on the McDonald's and Wendy's!).

Florida Orlando is an amazing place to go for a holiday... I have been four times now and I have been scared off lol. The last time I went was august the 20th for 3weeks!

Advantages: Great if you have kids and are on a Disney vacation Disadvantages: crowded, fake, shallow, insincere part of America
Although Orlando does not like to admit it, the only reason they appear on a map is Disney World. Before the park opened it was basically a trailer town filled with low forehead, nose-picking yahoos. Disney changed all that. Today it is a sort of Las Vegas of tourism. There's neon as far as the eye can see, and whoole city districts are given over to hotels, restaurants, and shopping. Tourists clog the streets and fill the traps. Stay in the south ... ...you're not in Disney World, and there are three major roads around and out of the area for those that are driving. There are some neat places down there as well, such as the Medieval Times, a huge restaurant in the shape of a castle where you eat with your fingers off of pewter plates and watch knights jousting in the arena in front of you. Make sure you look around before booking here or any other attraction...there are many, many books filled with ...
