One of the things people always comment on is the amount of open green areas in Cambridge, something that being broad and bred from the city I take for granted. Parkers Piece is just one of these, in addition to Midsummer Common (home to the mid-summer fair) and Jesus Green (the Beer Festival site, and therefore site for many stumbling men). In comparison to these, Parkers is somewhat smaller and more central to the city.
