Disadvantages Disadvantages Shabby, lack of facilities, breakfast is a humorous sham

LOCATION 55 Prince's Square, W2 4PX Pembridge Palace Hotel is located in Bayswater, Zone 1 of London. The nearest tube station is 'Bayswater', on the Circle line and District line. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the hotel from the station, and roughly 15 minutes to Victoria from the station. At the bottom of 'Queensway' (the road the station is on) is 'Westbourne Grove' (Notting Hill). That's just a 5 minute walk from the station. You can pick up a mini local area map from the station. Advantages Advantages Had hot water

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost too much

Not a three star hotel! This is not even a one star hotel. The room was tiny. The television only worked on one snowy chanel. The bathroom smelled of mold and the shower curtain was slimy. There was no plug for the drain so it was impossible to take a bath. There were no glasses, very few towels, and no extra pillows. The pillows smelled and were dirty and the extra blanket had large holes. There were bugs! I received many bites and developed sores that required medical attention. Breakfast was terrible. They couldn't even make a cup of tea. The staff were not helpful and they didn't seem to ... more

    Advantages Advantages good area

    Disadvantages Disadvantages rude, unhelpful staff

We were moved here from another hotel in the same area as they were overbooked. This is not 3 star hotel, rooms small with no tea/coffee facilities in room, not even a beaker in the bathroom or plug in sink. Tiles in bathroom cracked, perhaps newly decorated as the re was paint on the curtains. breakfast was minimal and although advertised as served til 10.30 on a Sunday the staff start to clear away toaster, cups cutlery etc at 10.15 and not accomodating if something is requested. Staff generally impolite and uninterested. security was poor there was a security lock on entry from street but ... more

    Advantages Advantages NONE

Disadvantages Disadvantages RUDE STAFF, DIRTY STUFF ROOMS, NASTY STAINS, AWFUL.

This hotel is a disgrace. I checked into a room that had smoothie spilt in the carpet, and smelt disgusting. Then, the noise from others in the hotel kicked off early evening and you can hear every noise possible from other guests and that is not what I want to hear. In complaining I got nowhere. I had to leave after midnight on the day I checked in due to the noise and the stuffy smelly rooms. I was told it would be no problem to get a refund, I had to deal with the manager the next day. i called the manager twice a day to never get anyone, to not get a reply to my letters, calls, emails. I ... more
