Advantages: everything and more! Disadvantages: absolutely none!
Pentewan Sands is a fantastic Holiday Park for families to visit; it is right on the beach in Cornwall. The park is situated next to Pentewan, a very small, quaint village a few miles outside of St Austell. The park is quite large with 32 acres of space, set in a sheltered bay with a beautiful private beach which is over ½ a mile long. I have visited this park more times that I can remember, almost every year of my life so far, some years even twice. ... ...for children too, called the Pentewan Pirates Kids Club where there is lots of entertainment, fun and games. If you are under 7 years old you must be accompanied by an adult and the club starts from 10.30 every morning. Also for kids there is a play area on the beach with swings and climbing frames.
There are lots of toilet and shower blocks all over the park so wherever you are staying there is always somewhere only a few moments away. These blocks ...

Pentewan Sands Cornwall
If you are looking for a family orientated campsite in the heart of Cornwall which is quite literally on the beach then this is the one for you.

How To Get There
You follow the M5 to the South West and then take the A30 and head for Bodmin. Head towards St Austell and then head for Mevagissey on the B3273. The site is well signposted but the last bit of road can be quite narrow and bendy so be careful.

Facilities
On the site there is everything you would expect to find for this sort of holiday. There are many toilet blocks with lovely clean facilities and showers, including baths for babies. These are cleaned regularly throughout the day. There is also a dedicated dishwashing area with plenty of hot water. There is a launderette ...

Advantages: Beautiful Location, Great Facilities, Great Entertainment. Disadvantages: None!
Pentewan Sands is a Holiday Park which is situated in a beautiful location near to Pentewan Village, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Mevagissey.
*~* Arrival and Accomodation *~*
Upon arrival you will need to go into the reception with all of the relevant booking confirmation and paperwork. The staff will book you in. If you arrive at night, there is a holding area opposite the site on the right hand side, which is available for overnight parking. ... ...Woods, which is about 10 minutes drive up the road. Here you can still have access to the entertainment and facilities provided on the Pentewan site. You can also take dogs to Heligan Woods in some of the static caravans (this is a new thing that they have just added). ...
