Petra Palace Hotel, Wadi Musa

Having been assured by our tour operator only two days before we left that there were certainly no building works taking place, we were disgusted to arrive at a building site!!!!! There was dust and dirt everywhere. The only working lift was being used by the builders and was filthy. We found our way to our room which overlooked a swimming pool surrounded by four blocks of rooms. They were refurbishing the block ajacent to us.
