Advantages: A mixed-use building with fascinating achitectural design
Disadvantages: Not much of interesting attractions around the place

I loved KL. We went on our honeymoon in april of this year. The twin towers are in my opinion a great example of modern architecture and well worth a visit. Some guidebooks say that you'll have to queue for hours to get a ticket as they only give out a limited number each day, but we didn't find this to be the case. I am a Malaysian. I almost go to the twin towers area everyweek. There is a shopping complex attached to this towers. Foreigners like to go shopping the shopping complex, Suria KLCC because it is a big shopping complex. There are lots of outlets selling branded products there. Gucci, Rolex, Prada, Couch, Tiffany.. Visited the Petronas Towers this year and to be honest i was very disappointed. I arrived there at around 11am after using the very efficient but rather expensive train system which takes you from the airport (although going up the towers is free). Upon arrival i discovered that no tickets were available for today. In fact the clerk told me that tickets sell out very fast everyday, especially weekends and holidays when malaysians often visit.
