...As I said, the Philosophers' Way is on the opposite side of the river to the old town and the castle. To get to it from the old town, you can cross the old bridge (the Carl Theodor Bridge which, by the way, is a big attraction in itself and if I can think of enough to say, maybe I'll write a review of the bridge too). Anyone will be able to point you to this as it's very famous! Once you cross the bridge, follow the river along to your left (you ... ...is the bottom of the Philosophers' Way! Even if you only walk fifty metres, you find yourself surrounded by flowers and greenery and with a wonderful view of the river and castle. Continue and you'll follow a zig-zag path through beautiful flora and see the city pan out in front of you. I think I used a whole film in my camera that afternoon, because every time I looked down I thought "the view can't get any more beautiful and breathtaking than this ...
