I would recommend it if you were staying in New York for a long time and were running out of places to eat at. I went to planet hollywood twice while in new york once for drinks on the first night and then another night for dinner. We didn't have any wait to be seated and our waiter was very polite and helpful. We did wait a while for him to fetch our beers but he seemed to have to serve half of the resturant alone. Planet Hollywood on times square is a great place in midtown to go for a lunchtime treat between shopping and sightseeing. They serve large portions, and have a huge variety of meals to choose from, although few vegetarian options. I think it's a great place to take children of all ages to see the film props and memerabillia, the Terminator motorcycle is one not to miss as you go through the entrance. i enjoyed it as there is allot of movie props etc to look at and i can imagine it to be good fun for a group party. personally i was just there with my girlfriend but enjoyed it. the place was very busy and we had to wait in a line for almost 35 mins. the food was nice and filling and of good value for time square. i recommend it for young people or families to go and eat before or after a show. as we did, for people goin to time square for a show ...
