We stayed at Pontins Brean Sands near Burnham on Sea in Somerset in October 2007. We booked this through The Sun Newspaper holiday scheme, so it cost us £38 for 3 nights and a further £12 for entertainment passes. We decided to take our own bed linen to save another £6. So we get there at about 1pm but we cant book in until 4pm, however we get to use the facilities, so we spent a few hours having a drink and splashing about in the pool. We are just back from Pontins Southport and to be honest I really did not want to go as I had seen a holidays from hell type of programme the week before we were due to go and it looked really bad like a concentration camp the rooms look horrible and it completely put me off.
