Porto Colom is a quiet little village inhabited by about 400 people. The weird thing is, you will find that everyone is either elderly or an infant. There is a lack of teenagers to be found during the week but they come out in swarms on a Friday and Saturday night to venture down to Zona 3-2, the local Spanish nightclub, of which the owner and the bar staff are very nice to look at.
Most of the bars are situated at a central location, midway between ... ...the Harbour. The fact that Porto Colom can probably be covered by foot in 30 minutes means you have time to scope out the best places for yourself.
The hotels in the area are great. There's not a bad thing to say about any of them. The rooms are clean and trust me I saw a fair few during my time living out there. Everything is clean and nobody can do enough for you. It's good to get onside and friendly with the hotel staff as they have the cheapest ...
