...excited to go to this Pousada as we had planned this for a long time as there is so much in the surrounding area to see.
On arrival we found parking to be a problem and almost none existent. We had to park down the road and carry our own luggage to reception.
At reception, although friendly, we had to wait a while to be attended to.
The rooms were clean and although small, were adequate. The bathrooms have been modernized, however grouting and ... ...was included and a large variety of breads, cheeses etc available. However, the service was appalling. It was self service however one had to request certain items such as coffee etc from the waiters. Again, trying to attract the attention of the waiters took time. When we were served coffee it was like dishwater. When we asked for it to be replaced the first waiter ignored us. When we eventually received the coffee it was so thick it was like a ...
