Prague Airport is spacious and airy, with huge windows and marble floors. It looked extremely clean, and to our relief it was non-smoking, other than in one bar restaurant. While we take non-smoking for granted in most Western European airports, it's only fairly recently that Eastern Europe has followed this trend. Advantages: Spacious, Easy to Navigate Disadvantages: Odd, Rude Staff
...I have to say that Prague Ruzyne is probably the strangest that I have ever encountered. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, my overall experience at the airport was good, it was if nothing else, quirky!
My girlfriend and I arrived at the airport on a cold, overcast morning on board an easyJet flight from Stansted. Prague has two terminals and which one you arrive at depends on the country of origin for your flight. a) Get a taxi to the nearest train station or city centre
b) Use a minibus service called Cedez to get to the centre
c) Arrange a private transfer

Advantages: restaurant food is better than some airports Disadvantages: lack of seating
When I first flew into Prague Airport I was very impressed with the speed at which we cleared passport control. The luggage was very quick to arrive off the plane. The staff were helpfu. The taxis were clearly marked and therefore there was no worry of 'cowboy' taxi drivers conning us. The reutrn flight was a different story! The flight was delayed for 9 hours - we were given no information and then very little information. We were given food vouchers, ... ...we coped but the seats were a force to be reckoned with. The seating area prior to checkin is far superior to after checkin - TIP - don't go through until you really have to if you're only planning on sitting - if you're going to shop far enough. ...

Advantages: ease of access and egress. Disadvantages: potentially costly taxis from the airport
An easy airport to use, very quick to move through both on arrival and departure. Easy transport links into the city centre. The most cost effective being public transport at the princely cost of 20kc for 75 to 90 minutes of travel on buses, trams and the Metro. Possible to get almost anywhere in the city within an hour. Taxi drivers may charge around 200kc for a transfer into the centre.
The 119 bus to Dejvicka is my favoured route, from Dejvicka ... ...where you can change lines at either Mustek or Museum if necessary. Ruzyne is a fairly small airport and unusually close to the city centre for easyjet, but small makes for user friendliness and on departures the departures board and signage is fairly extensive. Occasional trouble experienced by check in staff with reliability of computer system for check in. With check in delayed for 25 minutes on my return flight. ...
