Premier Inn Brighton City Centre, Brighton & Hove

I though for my 19th review that I would diversify into something else instead of the plethora of secret agent DVD's that I've reviewed up to now, so here goes of a review into new territory….. mobile switched off please. For a weekend break in Brighton last year, my then partner and I needed accommodation. As usual we left everything to the last minute and were struggling to find a reasonably priced B & B for the Saturday night. In the end I decided to check the lodge chains to see what I could come up with. I found the Premier Inn in Brighton which seemed to have an excellent location. It was priced as £95 for the Saturday night and £49 for the Sunday, overall making it more competitive that the £75/80 per night B & Bs. Very central to shopping, buses, theatre and not far from the sea front, the hotel is on a busy street. The rooms and the reception area and restaurant seem to have been improved recently and having stayed there a few times in the last 3 years with friends or family, I have found it an ideal place to stay. It is also not far from the train station (about 5 minutes by taxi). There is parking at one of two nearby car parks at very reduced rates but cars are not really needed to get around Brighton.
