Advantages Advantages comfy double bed, good breakfast

Disadvantages Disadvantages uncomfortable fold out bed

Blackpool is meant to have more hotel rooms in the town than in the whole of Portugal, the problem with having this level of choice is that it is daunting to know where to start to look when you want to choose a place to stay and horror stories about seaside landladies were very much at the forefront of my mind when I was thinking about accommodation. I planned to have a short break in the second week of the school holidays in April for one adult and two teenagers and needed a decent room in a safe and quiet hotel with on site parking so decided to book two nights at the Premier Inn located on ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to reach by car, free parking, quiet

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not so good if you want to head to the Central Pier or North Shore, little else nearby

Blackpool is a place that is famous for its illuminations, and as a child of the west coast of Scotland, every autumn there have been day trips and short breaks available from my hometown to Blackpool for this visual feast. I have only ever been to Blackpool on day trips but really fancied seeing the illuminations for once in my life so on the spur of the moment, I decided to see if I could book a hotel with parking and go for a weekend. Eventually I settled upon the Premier Inn Blackpool Central, lured in by the fact it has a large free car park and the "central" in the hotel's title. Before ... more

4 Stars Premier Inn Blackpool - value for money Review with images 04/10/2007

Advantages Advantages Clear, bright, comfortable, efficient

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the most attractive of locations, need ID if you pay cash

The Blackpool Central Premier Inn is situated in Yeadon Way, pretty much half-way between Bloomfield Road (the home of Blackpool Football Club) and the Pleasure Beach (home of the Big One rollercoaster). Premier Inns are part of the Whitbread group and were recently voted among the best 20 big companies to work for, as attested to by the certificate proudly on display in reception. It claims to be the largest hotel chain in the UK, with over 490 hotels nationwide. This Premier Inn is an unprepossessing, modern brick building, just off a dual carriageway, near a petrol station. Quaint the ... more

Advantages Advantages Friendly staff, very clean

    Disadvantages Disadvantages far from attractions

Recently my familiy and I stayed in a Premier Inn in Chester and we were very impressed with it and decided that next time we have a break away we will stay in another Premier Inn as the standard had been set. When we then decided to have a two night break in Blackpool we automatically looked for the Premier Inn there and booked it. At first I did seem a bit hesitant because of it's location as although it is IN Blackpool it's not exactly right in the centre which I think is usually the way with Premier Inn's. We decided on this despite knowing it was a fair walk to the attractions mainly ... more

we stayed at the premier inn for three days a fortnight ago and we had one of the family rooms.I would recommend this to any family as they have clean tidy and comfortable rooms all no smoking and we had best nights sleep ever, they even provide bedding, towels and cots for the youngsters of the family.
