This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and although it wouldn't win any prizes for luxury, it would win a price for good value for money.
As we were travelling to Manchester Airport by train this hotel was ideal as it is right night to Heald Green Railway Station and one stop away from Manchester Airport (or a short ride in a taxi to the airport).
We booked online and checkin was friendly and efficient. Our room was nothing startling ... ...quick overnight stay. The restaurant at the hotel serves decent pub food although it has to be said that it cost more for our dinner for 4 people than it cost for the hotel and cooked breakfast for 4.
The breakfast was really good value at £7.50 each and children ate free. The tea/coffee, cereals, toast, croissants, fruit juices, yoghurts etc were all buffet style but the cooked breakfast you ordered but you could still eat as much you liked. They ...
