Advantages: none Disadvantages: too many to list here!
After a while I thought we had arrived in Fawlty Towers. This is a fine building ruined by too few staff, who in the main are poorly trained. The food was awful and the organisation in the dining room for all meals was appallingly poor. Disabled facilities were a joke and I would suggest any disabled and elderly guests would be at real risk if a fire occurred. There was only one lift, holding four, which proved very unreliable. The room we were given ... ...the key. No assistance with luggage was offered. When I complained about the lack of window the desk clerk informed me that the room did have a Jacuzzi...as though this would make up for the lack of daylight.
The staff were not unhelpful but overwhelmed by the number of guests and the complete lack of leadership. A truly awful experience! ...

Advantages: none - a waste of time, diesel and money Disadvantages: See above!
We booked a family room for a Saturday night in late September (26/09/09 to be exact and I'm writing this at home the same evening! read on!)
Would you believe that there is not heating? No really, none what so ever - not even a heated towel rail. It was quite a cool evening and getting colder as it does at this time of year so we asked why the heating wasn't on. Head office policy would you believe? They offered extra blankets but we would have ... ...a wedding party to deal with. What about us as paying guests? Two hours later our children wanted to go to sleep but still no blankets - we asked again and got the stock answer. It was now so cold my neck was stiff and I felt chilled right through. The children were unhappy and my wife who has cancer was feeling it more than me. We checked out amid a drunken rabble who had spilled out of one of the function rooms.
