Princes Square, too posh for a mall

Advantages: Different sort of shops
Disadvantages: Expensive

Princes Square is a totally gorgeous and sumptuous shopping mall in Glasgow City Centre and is quite unlike any other I have ever visited in the UK. It is certainly the poshest and although I rarely buy anything there I always enjoy a wander around the shops. The shops are distinguished by the absence of large high street retailing names ...

Relax at Princes Square, Glasgow

Advantages: Relaxed, spacious, full day out, unique
Disadvantages: Small, expensive shops

Princes Square, within Buchanan St, Glasgow's main shopping fareway, is a shopping centre with a difference. The building dates from 1841, when it was a Merchant square. To give more height, the basement was excavated to house more retail space. A clear glass dome was added over the whole ...
...first Scottish store in the Princes Square. The basement area has a performance space that is widely used for concerts at Christmas time, and the wonderful accoustics of this building make the music travel right up to the roof without being too loaud. Despite being one of the smallest shopping centres in Glasgow, it is probably the best designed, mixing retail with food and drink, giving plenty of space for general people watching. Even at busy ...

This shopping center is situated discreetly within a hidden area bettwen other stores. To enter the place there is an escalator that leads you straight up to very classy restaurants. The shopping center is made up of different levels, with Lovely restaurants at the top, clothing shops and salons on another and cafes on the last. It is a very calm shopping center and is rarely ever crowded. The people that visit the shopping center tend to be well ...
