Disadvantages: bad service, expensive, old aircraft; unhelpful staffs

...of time, I never fly Qantas unless I have no choice. I'm a frequent flyers member and I have flew with them many times and any times always have some problems. So for my conclusion: 1. The service is slow and inefficient. 2. The staffs are rude and unhelpful. 3. The aircrafts are old and not clean. 4. Nothing is premium except the price! I was flying from osaka (Japan) to Perth and the on to sydney (australia) in the summer of 1998. Mybe the crew were just having a bad day, but we were on the recieving end. First of all I must decribe myself. 5ft 8. White, blond hair blue eyes. Very obviously european. I was in aparty of 10 all very similar to what I described before. On a long haul flight, passenger comfort is all important and with Quantas you get good service and a comfortable journey. I flew to Sidney, via Singapore from Paris and found the cabin crew to be professional and friendly. A journey of this length is always going to be boring but Quantas did their best to make the experience as pain free as possible. The food was varied and the quantity just right for me. queensland and northern territory aerial service there's no 'u' in qantas the only word in the english language without one! never use this airline within australia. they are mean,inflexible and downright rude. strangely q has now 55% of the inter4nal market and this is a mystery to me. use ansett friendly, flexible and always helpful internationally of course they are slightly better than third world airlines although the staff are ... Qantas has little competition in Australia (only Ansett, and their prices are the same) but while this can mean high prices, the service is always superb. You don’t have to pay over the odds though. Take this tip. If you are going to be in Australia and want to make more than 3 internal flights, join the YHA (about £5) before you go then go to any Qantas office in Australia with your non Australian passport, your return international ticket and ... I have flown Qantas twice, and I have to say they were the most pleasant flights I've had. Maybe it's the water machine - I get dehydrated on flights, and they never bring round enough water. The meals are the best airline food I've ever had, not exactly cordon bleu but edible and even quite pleasant, which is far above any other airline. I traveled on Quantas whilst in Australia, from Sydney to Brisbane and back again. The flight was about 1 hour long. On both the flights we were given meals, which i thought was great. It would have been a hassle when landing o find somewhere to eat straight away and the meal on the plane was not only convenient but also saved you some money. I've flown Qantas internationally (London to Sydney)and domestically (Sydney to Perth.)You can fly Sydney to Perth for 50 dollars by Virgin which is amazing value for a five hour flight.It cost me 250 bucks to fly one way to Perth which is still pretty good. THe staff were very helpful and polite, even if as the lady sat next to me on one flight said, all the stewards on Qantas are gay! The films they showed were not up to much, although on some ...
