...of these nights at the Quality Hotel, located a ten - fifteen minute walk from the central O'Connell Street, and just across the Liffey from Conolly Station (both rail, busand LUAS services are available from here.)
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the clean, spacious surroundings and adjoining bar which was, at the time, playing host to a doubtlessly talented jazz/blues trio whose music was unintrusive but pleasant.
We were able to ... ...otherwise good experience with the Quality Hotel Dublin - I had generally enjoyed my stay. Our rooms had been cleaned daily and staff had maintained a high standard of hygiene. The gym was excellent, especially given the reasonably prices of rooms. Staff were predominantly friendly and helpful, with an obvious exception.

Advantages: Cheap, great food, great leisure facilities, Disadvantages: Located away from shops, bars and restaurants
I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions in 2007. My first visit was for St Patricks Day and we booked this hotel because it was cheap even though this would be their busiest weekend. We booked a triple room for 4 nights arriving on a Thursday and departing Monday.
On our first visit we got the airport bus which costs 5 Euros. We got off the bus at O'Connell Street and then got a taxi as it was late at night to the hotel. The hotel is located ... ...direction of the Sea. It is located near The Point so is a good location for attending concerts and events. It is approximately 15 minutes walk to O'Connell Street, the main shopping areas of Grafton Street and Henry Street and Temple Bar. It might seem like a long walk back after a night out in Temple Bar but the walk back helps sober you up! The hotel is just off the road that runs alongside the river.
