...half an hours drive from Quaywest Waterpark in Paignton, Devon. My husband took my son last year when I was working and he was too afraid to go on the sildes (my son not husband) so he only liked it wet not wild. This year when we all went, I found it to be really wild.

Quaywest is situated next to Goodrington Beach at Paington, Devon. Goodrington is suposed to be Torbays favourite beach. ... ...golf. We drove to Quaywest Waterpark and the pay and display car park is a good size, we went on a hot day and there were still loads of spaces. It is about a 5 minute walk to the park from the carpark. Advantages: variety of activities, fun for anyone, beach close by, cheap Disadvantages: overcrowding on occasions
Quaywest waterpark in devon is a great way to take up 1 day of a holiday. This fairly compact park has a good range of slides and pools, varying from a baby pool to a 30 ft 80 degree angle flume drop, which i was fortunate enough to rip my shorts on. Getting there is easy as it is situated just off the main road towards Brixham from Torbay. The prices also aren't bad when compared to other local attractions or similar venues abroad such as typhoon ... ...water ride including single flumes and double slides on rubber rings to a water rapids where many people can go on at the same time.
On arrival, there was a fairly unorganised queue to the front entrance but parking was easy. The changing rooms are a squeeze when entering as their are probably only approximately 60-70 changing facilities with sevral hundred trying to get changed and getting a locker can have the same problem.
