Advantages: Seeing treasures Queen holds in trust for nation Disadvantages: Having to pay
I expected the best and The Queen's Gallery did not disappoint.
I went to the Royal Faberge Collection, some time go, but the memory lingers.
The Queen's Gallery offers exhibitions of some of the Queen''s Collection which she holds in trust for the nation. Before it opened, in May 2002, so much of it was locked up, securely hidden from the very people the monarch holds in in trust for.
So, now you can see changing exhibitions for several months ... ...priceless and historic pieces held in the Royal Palaces all over the United Kingdom.
The Faberge Collection had been the interest of three royal persons, the most famous the late Queen Mother.
The exhibition was just so fabulous. It was so royal to put it simply. The royals had actually commissioned some of the pieces from the original Mr Faberge (christian name escapes me): photo frames, eggs (out of this world craftsmanship in jewels to behold!), ...

How the hell (well actually on earth, but nevermind) do those soldiers with the red uniform and big black afro wigs mange to stand their with out moving in the slightest bit all day? I mean, how much do they get paid to do all of that stuff they do (or actually, all that stuff they don’t do)? IS it just something that comes naturally or is it to do with the queen or royal family touching you or what? Does it take practice or do you just dope yourselves ...
