Advantages Advantages Much cheepo on a thursday night!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sticky carpets and some of the people are a bit strange!

A usual Thursday night consists of me and my friens faithfull returning to our second home: Queens Hall in bradford city centre. As sticky as the carpets may be, and as cheesy as the light up floor downstairs is we still go every week without fail. And every week we manage to embarass ourselves even further! The reason we go on a thursday is because; "its ladies night, and the feelings right!" Advantages Advantages Cheap, good crowd

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Floor gets sticky!

It has got two bars, one of them just has bottles but is a good place to stand when the footys on cos it has a decent view of the large screen. The middle floor is definately the busiest because people prefer it. There is an absolutely tiny dance floor against the ... more

Advantages Advantages a good laugh with friends

Disadvantages Disadvantages horrible if you're a bit of a snob, like me

Queens Hall is situated in the 'pumping' student area of Bradford and is haunted by young and old alike. The age range varies from about 14 to 50, and bypassing hennights, stagnights and work 'dos' on the way. There are two main floors, the upstairs has a mezzanine where people gather to hang over the balcony and watch the scroats go by. Entrance fee is £6 for access to all floors and £4 just for the upstairs. The music varies from floor to floor as downstairs is old, mainly cheesy 'classics' from Tiffany to the jackson 5. The dancefloor is lit from beneath and flashes in time to the music ... more
