Advantages: Accept Group Bookings, Convenient Location, Access to a bar open until 6am, Breakfast is suprisingly edible. Disadvantages: Building poorly maintained, poorly furnished rooms, poorly maintained furniture, no ensuite, smelly, damp, get laughed at by cab drivers when you tell them where you are staying and breakfast is served in sister hotel 2 minutes walk away

The Bentinck’s uglier, dirtier, shabbier, unwell of a sister hotel sits at a fork junction on Carrington Street, which is the main road that runs past the front of the railway station. It is very conveniently located being very close to the station, and it is inbetween the Trent Bridge area (for football and cricket) and the city centre (for shopping, drinking and ... ...given a key to go through the front door. Inside, the hotel has seen a lot better days and every room of our eight had a tatty bed, with a smelly mattress, a sink, and a wardrobe (with a door if you were lucky to hide that Robin Hood costume the Stag has to wear). Additionally to this the carpets were filthy and some rooms attracted more flies than others plus each room had a view of either the tatty accommodations across Carrington Street towards ...
