Advantages Advantages It's the RHS flagship garden: many plants you won't see elsewhere in lovely settings

Disadvantages Disadvantages The distance if you aren't in southern England; Admission prices if you aren't an RHS member

    Advantages Advantages beauty; peace; tranquility

Disadvantages Disadvantages not cheap for a large family

Advantages Advantages Quiet, tranquil place to be

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's right next to the A3

I am a nutty keen gardener and horticulturalist and decided about 3 years ago to subscribe to the RHS and become a member of the society. This costs £37 (normally £30 on renewals from thereon!) For that money you get a magazine called "The Garden" every month, jam packed full of all stuff to do with gardens/gardening etc, and free entrance to all of their RHS Gardens and reduced entrance to others. I visited Wisley, once with my mum and dad, and got one of them in free as your membership card entitles you to take one other person in for free. It was the most tranquil place to be, even with ... more
