In November 1999 we took a 4 day break to New York for a Christmas shopping expedition. Our tour operator wisely booked us into The Radisson Englewood Hotel situated just across the Hudson River in the State of New Jersey. It was only about a ten minute drive by courtesy coach from the Hotel to the centre of the bustling New York. We enjoyed very peaceful nights tucked up in our oversized bed with abundant sleep that was required after gruelling days spent crawling around the busy Avenues and Streets in the Big Apple.
