Advantages: everything you need in one place Disadvantages: poor local transport so car hire needed
This is not an hotel,it a small village.Its got all you need for a fantastic holiday and more. We [my wife & i] stay here for a week in July 2006.We stayed on a self catering basis though you can have other options,Half board,full board & all inclusive.The rooms are quite large with a king size bed,setee & arm chairs,large screen tv & dvd player,also air-conditioning, built in wardrobes and a full size bathroom.The complex has two large outdoor pools ... ...for food & drinks etc. The restaurants are first class, prices about the same as London but food and service very good.The hotel is built on a cliff top overlooking one of the best beaches in Malta,it has it's own private beach area reached by a lift in the hotel.Hotel provides free transport to various places on the island. ...

Advantages: New, Spacious Disadvantages: Out of the way, expensive, no facilities
...from a week in the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel (October 2007). The Hotel and Rooms are clean and spacious, however beds especially the sofa beds are every uncomfortable. The food is very expensive and unfortunately is nothing special. Good view overlooking the small beach, and good outdoor swimming pools. Bring your walking boots as the hotel is miles from anywhere. There are no shopping facilities apart from a small gift store, a jewellery store, ... ...Overall comments and experience, overrated, overpriced, not a 5*, out of the way, and no facilities. NB: Beware the timeshare reps as they are out to get you. We also experience very bad weather for the week, cold, wet, and very windy and this might have also tainted our view. ...
