Advantages: Four Star Hotel with fabulous food and excellent facilities. Friendly staff and easy access to skiing. Disadvantages: None experienced
I have just returned from a short skiing holiday to Norway where our party of 8 (4 Adults and 4 Children) stayed in this wonderful hotel. Our accommodation was half board. The rooms were comfortable, with private bath or shower, WC, mini-bar, cable TV and hairdryer. The food was FANTASTIC !
Each night a three course buffet was prepared with over 15 different main courses to choose from and a vast array of beautiful desserts. Breakfast was again ... ...The service from the hotel staff was friendly and if your requred additional help or assistance, they would do everything they could to oblige.
The hotel itself is set in a quiet location up the hill from the town centre of Lillehammer. As well as hosting Kings and queens, it was the official residence of many dignitaries during the 1994 Winter Olympics.
