The Regent hotel was founded in 1935 and has been family run since that date. The hotel has recently had a major refurbishment and offers a Residents bar, two public bars, four conference/Function ... ...the fringe of Doncaster’s town centre on the eastern edge and is ideally located for fine shopping in the Frenchgate shopping centre, the markets and Doncaster racecourse (10 minute walk), home of the legendary St Leger and Lincoln Handicap. It is also only 15 minutes drive from Doncaster Robin Hood Airport and only 5 minutes drive from Junction 3 of the M18.
Check-in is from 14.00 – 00.00 on your arrival day and Check-out is from 07.00 – 11.00 ...

Advantages: Fantastic rooms, friendly staff and Great food Disadvantages: Limited Wifi reception
The Regent Hotel is located in the heart of Doncaster and is very easily accessable by car or rail. I travelled by rail and it was just a short 10 minute walk through the town centre to the hotel. Check-in was a fantastic experience and it was all ready prior to arrival and there was no need to fill in my address etc as it was all done, it was just a case of 2 signatures and off to my room. The room i stayed in was a double room for single occupancy ... ...well decorated, and looked recently decorated. The en-suite bathroom was very clean with a very powerful shower over the bath. A range of goodies were available in the bathroom including shampoo and shower gel.
the electrical fittings in the room were a chrome finish which gave the room a nice feel, that coupled with a huge double bed made the whole room excellent.
On the downside in the room was the television, first there was no picture at all ...
