Advantages: Central location, great food, clean rooms, friendly staff Disadvantages: lifts take a while to arrive
Location - Ideally situated in the centre of benidorm, close to all bars and restaurants, but not to close, therefore no noise pollution late at night.
Rooms - Good sized rooms with plenty of storage space. Bath, shower, basin, toilet and b-day in bathroom. Good sized balcony with plenty of seating.
Food - Excellent choice, varies every night, chips and salad always available. Breakfasts always plenty of choice, bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, tomatoes, ... ...- 3 pools, plash pool for the kids, big main pool for all ages and another main pool with lanes for the more advanced swimmer. Always plenty of room for everyone in and around the pool area, with a sun terrace available for those who just want to sunbathe.
Staff - Always polite and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Kids club - Great kids club ran by Thomsons. Available 6 days a week, with various activities keeping the kids well entertained.

Quick review of Rio Park Hotel, Benidorm
Arrived @ the Rio Park on Tuesday 3rd July and was very imprsssed. Hotel was clean and tidy, nice staff and quick service on arrival.
Hotel had many facilities, various pool tables, a hotel bar, a British pub on site and other activities to due (internet use etc...)
Hotel looked fantastic lit up at night from the outside, unfortunately I was on a ground floor room which didnt cause to many problems but would of preffered a balcony.
Certainly would consider coming back to Benidorm and to the Rio Park ...

Advantages: Approachable friendly staff clean comfortable living Disadvantages: a little bit out of the way
RECENTLY REFURBISHED IN 2005 (I visited it in Feb. 2006)
It has been totally refurbished both inside and outside and is well worth a visit An excellent friendly hotel that caters for all ages from, teenagers to the golden years. The hotel is located on a slight hill but is well equipped with wheelchair access whilst inside the complex. (The hill isn't actually that bad as in our party there were 2 wheelchairs and we didn't struggle with the hill)
... ...Large L shaped swimming pool with sun terrace and pool bar Air conditioned dining room (Half board and full board options available) 5 lifts to all rooms over 8 floors Official rating of 2* but I personally think it deserves 3* plus ! ...
