    Advantages Advantages Good food, great music and cocktails!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be an expensive night out

    It's that time of year, full of presents, snow and festive cheer, and of course, the office party. I'm very lucky in that I get 2, one of the motors team, and then one for the whole classified advertising floor. The latter is a posh black tie affair which I'm not too fussed about, but the motors do is where I went all out. And boy did I! This year we opted for the Bunker Bar in Convent Garden for early drinks, and then swiftly moved on for a dancing session at Roadhouse.     Advantages Advantages cheap during happy hour, yummy strawberry daiquiris

    As students, we really know how to sniff a deal out. One of the best deals in Covent Garden is Roadhouse, during their happy hour(s). We tend to only stay for happy hour, and leave to other bars with longer happy hours (and then onto a club, maybe). Roadhouse is decked out to look like a 50's American diner, but the atmosphere and music does not match the decor. It is hidden in the basement of Covent Garden, on the South East side of the plaza (just by the Strand), by the Transport of London museum. Happy Hour "2-4-1 Happy Hour" at Roadhouse is between 1730-1930 Mondays-Fridays. As it's so ... more
