Wake up to a new life everyday - cruise big!
Review of Royal Caribbean International by

Advantages: Huge with many things to do day and night
Disadvantages: Gratuity system annoyed me
...the advertising hype on the Royal Caribbean internet site before we arrived at Southampton, for the inaugural Independence of the Seas, Canary Island/Lisbon/Vigo 12-day cruise in early May, and I was expecting a really huge ship. Nothing could have prepared me for the size of this lady. As we drove into sight we could not believe our eyes. It was massively ginormous!
Brand new, only launched a few days before, this absolutely fabulous marine monster ...

Brilliance of the Seas-Brilliant.
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
such.an.irony
Advantages: food, staff, ports, pretty much everything
Disadvantages: expensive
...a hotel we booked through Royal Caribbean called the Atrium Palace Hotel. There was a taxi waiting for us at the airport to take us to the hotel. When we arrived there was a Royal Caribbean representative there to greet us and explain our transfers to the ship. The Hotel itself was great. The rooms were big and so were the bathrooms! The only problem was that my brother and me had to share a bed, as we had two double rooms. It wasn’t too much trouble ...

Review of Royal Caribbean International by

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: very expensive
...board or connected to the Royal Caribbean cruise line. It was presented by crew members where it was fairly obvious that they were reading from prepared texts.
For me, the balcony was the best part of the room. There was a table and two chairs outside. The views were spectacular from about 70 feet up. When we weren’t exploring around the ship, this was where we spent our time. We just took drinks and sandwiches outside and watched the scenery ...

Disadvantages: So much to do, so little time!
...the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean’s new ships, released in 04. She is Voyager class and the second largest ship in the world. Her size is amazing; I was speechless when I saw her! The size is unimaginable. She is in great condition as well.
There are 15 decks of entertainment, food, activity and accommodation. This includes an ice rink, rock-climbing wall, 9 hole mini golf, golf simulators, inline skating track, full-size basket ball court and ...

Sun, sea and a different place every day
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
wednesdaygirl
Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Not long enough
...the Seas' which was a Royal Carribean ship.
We enjoyed out first week in Orlando but were ready for our cruise when it arrived. Orlando is not a relaxing holiday. Because we had booked it as part of a package it meant we had no problems finding the ship. We were picked up by taxi from our hotel and desposited at the side of the siip. This was a good move as we later found out from other people that had come by car that there was no parking at the ...

...way around - the stunning Royal Promenade on deck five runs right through the middle of the ship, and almost everywhere on the ship is easily reachable from there. The Promenade is lined with shops and bars, and starts at the Coral Theatre towards the front of the ship, and then ends at the main dining room (which spans three decks) towards the aft. The customer services desk is also found here, and there are a number of lifts at both ends, ready ...

Review of Royal Caribbean International by
pixey99
Advantages: Different places everyday, great food, meet lots of people, entertainment
Disadvantages: too much food!!
..."The Enchantment of the seas" Royal carbbiean cruise liner. We had never been on a cruise before and we are only in our mid twenties so we were slightly worried that they were not aimed at our age group but we didn't need to worry as there was a vast mixture of age groups and it seemed there were many young couples who were also on honeymoons. We were fortunate in that when we checked in we mentioned we were on our honeymoon and my husband who can ...

Splendour of the Seas
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
heidi2493
Advantages: Everything about it was brilliant
Disadvantages: Having to get off the ship to go to different ports lol
We went on Splendour of the Seas a few years ago for two weeks and well what can I say, I didn't want to come home!! It was such an excellent holiday, we travelled around the med visiting different places but I could have happily stayed on board for the two weeks!! I loved dressing up for dinner, having different menus each day, we had our own waiter called 'groba' who was really lovely and made each dinner special. On board there was a minature gold ...

...around the Western Caribbean with Royal Caribbean International last September and would highly recommend them!
We went on the Navigator of the seas for 1 week. The ship is amazing and a very high quality. The cabins are fairly small (we stayed in an interior cabin) but you hardly spend any time in there as there is soo much to see and do around the ship!
The entertainment is amazing. We often walked around the ship to see entertainers singing ...

RCCL is fun for the whole family
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
kdcarter
Advantages: Rest and relaxion, fun and games.
Disadvantages: Very few if any.
I have traveled with RCCL transatlantic a number of times and found them to be the best cruise line for families. My two children really enjoy the thirteen day voyages and never bored. The entertainment for all ages is fantastic. There are places for teenagers and young children to go whilst you kick back and enjoy the sun, pools and spas. The nightlife for adults is catered by piano bars discos, and live entertainment.
If you are like me and don't ...

Quick review of Royal Caribbean International
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
bigchris100
Just returned from a six port cruie starting at Barcelona.
What a magnificent ship, with wonderful dedicated professional, yet friendly service.
The fellow cruisers were a mixed bag of types and nationalities.
Dining choices very good. Pool and other public areas superb.
Kids club and staff truly fantastic. The children missed two port excursions because they wanted to be in the kids clubs all day! Now that's relaxing for a parent.
The ice show and the singing/dancing entertainment could not have been more professionally presented.
A holiday cruise where we truly did not want to get off!
Try this ship.

Navigator Of the Seas
Review of Royal Caribbean International by
surveyorbush80
Advantages: Great Food and Service (just everything!!!)
Disadvantages: None
I went on navigator of the seas about 1 month ago and had the best holiday of my life. If you have children you hardly ever see them, also there is children's clubs which do lots of fun games.
I have never had food better than this in my life, there is such a selection to eat and when i came back i found out that i put on half a stone.
Also the waiters are excellent, especially with children. If you go down to the formal restaurant where most ...
