Advantages: Good hotel well situated with good facilities Disadvantages: Service could be better
The Royal Garden Hotel is a five-star hotel situated on High Street Kensington. Although fairly centrally situated prospective users who wish to use the tube should be warned that the nearest station, High Street Kensington, although not too far away does have a couple of very busy and inconvenient street crossings to negotiate.
The reception area is very large. The staff are reasonably efficient but not particularly friendly. You do not get the ... ...I would have been disappointed. I think you are entitled to get something really special in terms of top class service when paying that kind of money. The Royal Garden Hotel just needs that particular bit of fine tuning to make it a great hotel. It isn’t quite there yet. ...

Advantages: Beautiful viiews, great location, lovely food Disadvantages: At full price it would seem a lot -look for deals
The hotel has a good website, with pictures and lots of details, which I found useful when choosing it. I was able to make a booking over a last minute site, which meant the price for a double room was £130. This was fine, but had I paid the full rate I wouldn't have thought it worth it. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from High Street Ken station. The hotel has an impressive facade and a beautiful lobby area. We found staff to be attentive and ... ...Hyde Park, which is right next to the hotel. Perfect for a stroll. Equally the hotel is also close to a bust shopping area, including high street names such as Monsoon, Marks and Spencers etc. Harrods is also walking distance away, as are several of the museums. So the hotel is a great base. The room itself was lovely and all the touches of luxury that you hope for at this cost.
