4 star, don't make me laugh

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: if you call sitting on the loo for nearly 2 weeks good then .....................

...beside the pool at the royal park and your 7 year old wants an ice cream as they do then it's a good 15/ 20 minute round trip in flip flops to take them to fetch an ice cream. Also in there you have the shops mentioned before minus the dodgy clothing and the arcade and pool tables prices as above but different tokens. On the plus side on the steps leading up to the coffee shop you can buy a fake Rolex watch from the watch stall (other fake watches ...
...than the one at the royal park but you can't eat there. Bowling alley, looked newly built never tried it as our kids weren't interested so cant comment on that one. Sozopol restaurant, not bad but not great either and you have to be up early to book it on the day you want to go. Sunshine restaurant, booked a table for 16 at 8pm, when we turned up it was closed. Back at reception the answer we got was the preferred one to any problems "I don't know" ...

Great holiday - Honestly!

Advantages: pools, location, cleanliness
Disadvantages: Miserable guests determined to moan about something/anything.

HI, just got back from this lovely hotel, and I have to say, some people need a good kick up the backside. Here are some common complaints that I have read about, and my response, [based on personal experience] to them. 1. The food was cold. - true - some of the time. The serving trays are kept hot by having boiling water beneath them. The water was certainly boiling - you could see steam coming off it all the time - so i'm at a bit of a loss as ...
...be. Nevertheless, its palatable, plentiful, and there is a microwave available, plus various pull down grills around the place - so people who wanted their food piping hot COULD have given it a quick blast! Plus - people were so slow, dithering about what to choose to eat, that it was no surprise to me that their food was cold by the time they got it to their table. Another thing - why didn't people choose to use the pre-heated plates? 2. The plates ...

...it gets scary....... THE GREAT ROYAL PARK TOWEL SCAM....... we had heared about a great many people being charged for missing towels when they tryed to check out, so we kept count of ours each day and if they were incorrect we would go to reception and ask for a replacement, after being accused of leaving it on the beach or by the pool we would get another one. when we were checking out 2 familys were being asked for payment for missing towels, one ...

Royal Park Hotel When went her the year 2008 in August for 2 weeks. The first impressions of the hotel is, it look lovely and clean. Well I couldn't be more wrong. The hotel is nice, but it is very tired looking. It is situated on its own beach which is good, and they were always plenty of sun loungers, which was good considering the amount of people in the hotel. After a few days, I realised why. Which I will explain further down in the review. ...
...hotel. You walked in the a very large reception area which high ceilings and winding staircase which when up to the second floor bedrooms which is where we were. There were also bedrooms downstairs. When we arrived at 2.30 am in the morning we were all tired as you can imagine as we were delayed going out. We arrive to a massive queue for the rooms to check in. We didn't get to our rooms until 5.45 am, and my two young girls where shattered. This ...

...Bulgaria. I was in Royal Park Hotel, Elenite in the autumn of 2009 and I don't want to go there again. This is an enormous Hotel and the nature is hidden and lost behind the walls. Restaurant (cantine) and food There is no choice and the quality of the food is doubtful. Some of my colleagues had problems with the stomach. There are no more than two fresh salads. You must look for a clean plate. The tomatoes for example are not for salad. These ...

Some of the rooms have a good view but if you don't have luck you will see the parking. Nobody made the beds. Service Most of the people from the service are not kind at all and don't speak foreign languages. The service doesn't have a uniform and they are badly dressed. After the long trip to Elenite, you may wait to ...

Quick review of Royal Park Hotel, Elenite

I have just returned from the Royal Park Hotel and am so happy to be home. 1st time ever, that i have been glad to see the back of a holiday. Food poisoning, causing the squits & stomach cramps have utterly ruined the 15 days All Inc` holiday.19 of us went family & friends, all had the squits. Still the toilets were lovely, clean & busy. Do not eat in the canteen (oops i mean restaurant)the food is dire... Nothing to do,if like myself you have littleuns. Smokey bar underground. Ampitheatre with no bar. Swimming pool, but be up at 0600hrs to place towels. Aqua park, not inclusive. Take lots of money and eat out.Better still,DON`T GO!!!! ...

Quick review of Royal Park Hotel, Elenite

Don't go, stay at home and save your money, it is literally money down the toilet as that's where you spend most of your holiday. The food is awful and i suggest if your unlucky enough to be going eat out. power cuts are frequent at the hotel which means no food no drinks and no lighting which makes the stairs very dangerous as there is no natural light. be prepared to spend 100 lev on a safe as there is reports of things being stolen from your rooms. i couldn't wait to get home which is the first for me!! on a postive point the beach is lovely ...

...children returned home from the Royal Park Elenite, 11/9/07 after spending two weeks there. When approaching the hotel (late at night) everything looked amazing, that is till you wake up the next day! Dont get me wrong the place was very clean, many people had plasters on their limbs due to the amoun of mopping that is done there . You got used to the food, i didnt enjoy seeing flies swimming in the gravy and other sauces and staff just picking ...
...cant be said about other staff there, this includes behind front desk and in the computor room! they were so rude to me and my family. Tried for two weeks to pay for a safe in my room, always told to meet the manager at 7.30am tried to be ready at that time many days, but with 2 kids age 9 and 6 was hard, even after them not getting to sleep till 1am due to loud music from the beach bar. If going be very very careful, eat at pacos( just outside resort) ...

i have just returned 29/7/06 from a weeks holiday in this 4 star hotel in the purpose built resort /holiday village at elenite ,which consists of one other 3 star hotel and some apartments .it is set in its own bay on a beautiful little beach ,with plenty of watersports to do .I went on an all inclusive basis. ...which is a lively ,busy noisy place very built up like benidorm but great for an evening out ,and like everywhere in bulgaria very cheap i.e 50p for a pint of beer ,and great markets for buying all types of goods .The only downside to this holiday was that the people are not very friendly but for them tourism is a very new thing so I am sure this will improve with time .and unfortunately the food in the hotel really needs to improve with regards ...
