Advantages: Very cheap and flights flying to a wide range of destinations
Disadvantages: Check in desks extremely slow and airports are often quite far away from the intended destination

I find Ryan Air a great airline to fly with as being a student I don't have much money. The main advantage of Ryan Air is therefore the fact that it is extremely cheap (in fact not including taxes my flight back from Venice was 50p!!!!). This consequently means it's cheaper for me to go to Europe than visit my sister at uni in Leeds! Disadvantages: Not made for comfort.

...Yet I must say that Ryanair are a good company with very few delays and speed the journey up if it takes off to late. On the Hattonus scale this company rates 8/10 mainly due to the politeness and the way the staff do as much as possible to help you. I think the worse part of the whole journey was when my Dad asked me if the engine was 'suppose' to be on fire. The puns never stop do they? Anyway enjoy and good luck. ... Read review

Disadvantages: no luxury,no free food,like getting on a bus

I use Ryanair for flights to Ireland only. As everyone knows it is very cheap. Occasionaly they issue extra special offers such as flights for £1. As a general rule if you log on to their website you will find cheap flights to Dublin or Shannon. Depending on what time you want to fly at there is always a good range of options. Advantages: Cheap, low budget airline
Disadvantages: Majority of flights from Stansted

Ryanair has many advantages - the main one being that you can travel to many european destinations cheaply. The have a website that allows you to online book and then all you need is to print out your booking details - no tickets necessary. Disadvantages: no service! poor choice in food (which is expensive)

Ok .. . so its a cheap, no-frills airline! If you're on a tight budget and your main interest is getting there then Ryan Air will gert you there. However, you'll have to put up with less service than on your average airline. Its cramped . . . I've seen people sitting almost sideways cause there's no room to accomodate legs. ...Get used to it! I took Ryanair for the first time this month, and can praise them for their timeliness, efficiency, presentation and professionalism. But then I could say that about my dentist - a man that I don't relish contact with... I have used Ryanair only twice in my life, on both occasions to go to Ireland. You can pick up very good fares with this company, my sister has been able to fly to Italy on few occasions for less than £50 return, inclusive of taxes, however, on one occasion, in winter, they diverted the landing flight 200 kilometres away from were it was supposed to arrive. I have flown Ryanair on a few occasions and to be honest I have not been impressed. yes the cost of the flight is very cheap but the standard of service reflects that and so does the cost of everything onboard. Drinks are quite frankly overpriced and at £5.00 UKP for a sandwich you can see that they are trying to get back some money in this way. Although I've flown with Ryanair a lot in the past, I now try to avoid flying with this airline as much as I can. Sometimes I have to fly with them because there is nothing else available. Their customer service is appalling. I have been left standing in queues for ages and then rushed to the gate with the threat that the plane won't wait. ...booked a return flight on Ryanair from Dinard airport in Brittany to Stansted in Essex. This was the first time I had ever flown, so I was quite looking forward to it. However, my experience has put me off flying with Ryanair ever again. The airport in Dinard was small to say the least. Its facilities were poor and there was only a small bar selling beverages and snacks. The toilet facilities were awful. I arrived at the airport in good time ... Read review

Disadvantages: Destination airports not the most convenient

Cheap, cheap, cheap. This is one seriously cheap airline. Flew from Stanstead to Frankfurt Hahn. The flight was comfortable and timely. Seats on the flight were not exactly huge but I guess you get what you pay for. Beware though that Frankfurt Hahn airport is actually nowhere near Frankfurt, the customs 'shed' there is basicaly that... a SHED.
