Advantages: Cheap, fast, reliable
Disadvantages: Add time to get to the departure gate

I use Ryanair for flights to Ireland only. As everyone knows it is very cheap. Occasionaly they issue extra special offers such as flights for £1. As a general rule if you log on to their website you will find cheap flights to Dublin or Shannon. Depending on what time you want to fly at there is always a good range of options. When you book your flight you will be given booking reference. This is the number you will need to get a boarding pass at ...
...extra to my journey time. Ryanair now operate out of Heathrow also but the facilities at both airports are equally good, shops bars and restaraunts. Flights are not always on time. There are facilities like bars shops and toilets near the boarding gates at both airports. The flight usually takes about an hour. Flights are not always fully booked or overcrowded. Ryanair do not serve meals in flight but you can buy food and drink and there is also ...

Cheap and cheerful

Advantages: Cheap, low budget airline
Disadvantages: Majority of flights from Stansted

Ryanair has many advantages - the main one being that you can travel to many european destinations cheaply. The have a website that allows you to online book and then all you need is to print out your booking details - no tickets necessary. All sounding wonderful - well that was what I thought until I travelled with them. First of all if you want to travel somewhere other than Dublin, it appears that you have to travel from Stansted Airport - OK ...
...all when the flight was called for boarding. Basically if you want a cheap flight and not expecting comfort then Ryanair is ideal, if you want comfort and class then I sugeest a more mid-range airline. My overall opinion is that I got what I paid for. ...

You get what you pay for

Advantages: CHEAP!
Disadvantages: no service! poor choice in food (which is expensive)

Ok .. . so its a cheap, no-frills airline! If you're on a tight budget and your main interest is getting there then Ryan Air will gert you there. However, you'll have to put up with less service than on your average airline. Its cramped . . . I've seen people sitting almost sideways cause there's no room to accomodate legs. The words 'cattle plane' come to mind. First, I've never been fortunate enough to take a flight that actually departed on time ...
...Second, they seem eager to make the money they didn't in the ticket price. Sandwiches cost £4 (not normally more than £2 elsewhere) and they are quite eager to remind you to look through the tax-free catalogue. Not much variety in food offer. And if you happen to be vegetarian, you're stuck with the cheese and tomato sandwich. Third, the planes are dirty (often) and seem in need of minor repairs . . . things like reading lamps that don't work, meal ...

...to it! I took Ryanair for the first time this month, and can praise them for their timeliness, efficiency, presentation and professionalism. But then I could say that about my dentist - a man that I don't relish contact with... I took a return flight from Leeds Bradford to Dublin, and they were on time (early to arrive, in fact) in both directions. The cabin crew were friendly, apart from the bit where they do that bizarre safety presentation ...

When to fly Ryanair

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Cramped seats

I have used Ryanair only twice in my life, on both occasions to go to Ireland. You can pick up very good fares with this company, my sister has been able to fly to Italy on few occasions for less than £50 return, inclusive of taxes, however, on one occasion, in winter, they diverted the landing flight 200 kilometres away from were it was supposed to arrive. Personally I found the legroom quite limited, clearly you have to remember how much you are ...
...Although, as I said, Ryanair do have many good promotions to some part of Italy and France, it must be said that if you do nto grab any of these offers, seats are as expensive as on more reputed airlines, like BA or BMI. My advice would be to fly with Ryanir only if you can have a ticket at 50% the price you would pay on another carrier, OR if you intend to fly straight into some regions. Turin in Italy, for example, is a perfect location to go to ...

Cheap and nasty?

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: you pay for what you get

I have flown Ryanair on a few occasions and to be honest I have not been impressed. yes the cost of the flight is very cheap but the standard of service reflects that and so does the cost of everything onboard. Drinks are quite frankly overpriced and at £5.00 UKP for a sandwich you can see that they are trying to get back some money in this way. The planes are as safe as any others (I Hope), allthough they do look like they have been on Arthur ...
...1 plane was decidedly dirty. I suppose if you pay this price for a flight what can you expect. The staff were courteous but a bit slow and seeem a bit disinterested at times. I will probably fly with them again as my company uses them but for me... I don't know...how much is that seat again? ...

Life is too short....

Advantages: It may well get youn there
Disadvantages: everything else

Although I've flown with Ryanair a lot in the past, I now try to avoid flying with this airline as much as I can. Sometimes I have to fly with them because there is nothing else available. Their customer service is appalling. I have been left standing in queues for ages and then rushed to the gate with the threat that the plane won't wait. Their refusal to allocate seats at check-in results in a cattle rush at the gate while people try to get on ...
...wait longer for luggage with Ryanair than with other airlines. I once had to wait for an hour at Stanstead airport before the bags came through. It is often said that Ryanair has the cheapest flights. This is often far from being the case. I fly a lot between the UK and Ireland and I often find better prices with Aer Lingus or BA, particularly if I'm travelling at the last minute. Also, Ryanair frequently fly from airports that are well outside ...

Ryanair - not cheap but definitely nasty

Advantages: Not much
Disadvantages: Not cheap in my experience

...booked a return flight on Ryanair from Dinard airport in Brittany to Stansted in Essex. This was the first time I had ever flown, so I was quite looking forward to it. However, my experience has put me off flying with Ryanair ever again. The airport in Dinard was small to say the least. Its facilities were poor and there was only a small bar selling beverages and snacks. The toilet facilities were awful. I arrived at the airport in good time for ...
...information whatsoever. When the Ryanair flight finally arrived, the passengers were ushered off and we quickly boarded. The plane itself was cramped, stuffy and smelt. Ryanair staff were apathetic and didn't seem to care. They, like us, just wanted to get home. The return flight two weeks later was admittedly much better, but the outward flight put me off Ryanair completely. I wouldn't have minded so much if the flight was cheap, but it wasn't. ...

Cheap and easy

Advantages: Affordable, punctual and simple.
Disadvantages: Costs for check-in(unless you use online), luggage charge and no seat assignments.

I regulary fly with with Ryan air from London to North Germany and i must say its one of the most punctual airlines i have flown with. i Have flown with other air lines going from Britain to Germany and vice versa and have been delayed and connect, flight delayed (sometimes 5 hrs +) and luggage lost. The maximum i have been delayed with Ryan air is 40 mins and i can safely say i have never lost any piece of luggage with this airline. The booking ...
...to follow steps, although you have to watch out as generally no luggage or check in charges are included in the original price, so expect a price rise when coming to these steps. But the flights are generally affordable so a little extra will not come as a massive shock. The flights do tend to rise rapidly over the last month and a half leading up to the flight so try to book early (the earlier the better), you can see the rise from day to day. ...

Good Value

Advantages: Cheap, efficient
Disadvantages: little in flight service

Ryanair offers excellent good value flights. The closer to the date of the flight you book the cheaper the cost of the flight. It is possible to book over the internet or by phone. The flights are the cheapest available. Ryanair is a no frills airline thus there is no food on flights it is more like a bus service than a plane flight. It is an efficient service and promises the best prices. Their website is very efficient and user friendly. I would ...

Ryanair for best value every time.

Advantages: cheap, quick, efficient, polite, on time
Disadvantages: seat belts tight fit

As a regular flyer with Ryanair I feel impelled to tell everyone not to get hung up on the problems you see on the programme or the bad media reports on hidden charges. The service is quick, easy to use, cheap and absolute value for money. If you - like me - are keen to travel often with little fuss and cost, thendo not miss out of the special offers. There are real bargains to be had if you are prepared to be flexible with the flight times and ...
...all the extras you will get a brilliant buy. Last trip for me and hubby cost 4p - yes that is not a misprint. No checked in luggage but a nice 10k small case to carry on, check in on line (FREE) and no priority boarding for the privilege of saving yourself 10 mins in a queue and the ony extra cost I had to pay was an £8 card fee. So for total of £16.04 two of us flew on time to Limoges, arrived 20 mins early and were very very pleased. Go for it ...

Terrible trip on Ryan

Advantages: cheapish, flys into Cornwall
Disadvantages: Terrible service, long delays

When I found that Ryanair were now flying out of Newquay, I was thrilled. To then hear adverts on local radio saying that it was from £19 one-way was even better. I duly booked my flight - discovering that I could fly into Newquay for £19 but only fly out for £39 - add on taxes and handling charges and I was now up to £84. But I thought that this will at least be easier and quicker than the train or coach. Check-in was fine - the 2 and half hour ...
...through. I found that the Ryanair staff in the airport were extremely unhelpful with a couldn't-care-less attitude. Although they don't have their own groundstaff - the groundstaff's contract is with them and it was with them that I had purchased my ticket from. Delays seem to be almost a normal part of travelling by plane these days. However, I do expect someone tell me what is happening and for a company to compensate you even in some small way ...

You or your luggage won't enjoy this

Advantages: Flying won't get cheaper than this.
Disadvantages: Watch out for low air pressure rates onboard! -And many more...

...buy cheap service. Ryanair is surely the cheapest way of getting to your European destination. The plains tend to be on time, often even early. -And I have never heard of a Ryanair plane crashing. But. If I wasn't a student and hence with the lowest of income, I would never use Ryanair. My reasons? 1) Ryanair passengers are treated like cattle. Queuing, being ordered around, having to pay (high prices) for food and drink -or starving during flight, ...
...quite far from the nearest Ryanair Airport. 3) Air pressure onboard varies both in the cabin and in the luggage compartment. During my recent flight a glass jar of foundation exploded in my suitcase making quite a mess. Meanwhile a half-full plastic bottle of water splashed at my face when opened. These were signs of seriously low air pressure. If you have the choice of paying a bit more to choose another airline, the quality of your flight will ...

***Ryainair**** **About** Ryainair are a budget airline that flies all over Europe to destinations such as Italy, France, Spain, Germany and Switzerland. The airports they use tend to be further away from your destination than rivals though so for example if you are thinking of going to Paris the airport they use is Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport (BVA) and not a closer one such as Charles dw Gauile or Orly.So think carefully before you book you may ...
