Ryanair.com the who cares airline
Review of Ryanair - RYR by

Advantages: Cheap fares sometimes.
Disadvantages: Attitude and information
...good price. I came across Ryanair and thought that these would be the ideal answer to my problems. However, my experiences have been very mixed to say the least.
The Ryanair website itself is very well laid out, with lots of helpful information about the company, if that interests you. It also contains current flight information, as well as links for hotels and car-hire facilities, making it a good place to organise a holiday or weekend away. Booking ...

Flying without frills
Review of Ryanair - RYR by

Advantages: Cheap, gets you from point A to point B
Disadvantages: Flys to smaller airports, sometimes late
...blossomed in recent years, but Ryanair is one of the oldest and one of the cheapest.
Ryanair are based out of Stansted to the north east of London, but they have recently added another hub in Charleroi, near Brussels which has increased their routes particularly between continental destinations.
I've flown with Ryanair quite a few times, four times in the past year (8 if you include return trips) and that I have continued to use them, I think, ...

Ryanair
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
lustba
Advantages: Cheap, Staff, Clean
Disadvantages: /
...This was due to the Ryanair staff at the check in desk. They were extremely efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. This meant that everyones bags were checked in very quickly. When we got to the desk we had a warm greeting from the member of the Ryanair staff who was dealing with the procedure. And, once again she dealt with everything very quickly and easily without fault or error. Both the handles on our bag were broken, but she quickly ...

'A cheap hop over the North Sea with Ryanair'
Review of Ryanair - RYR by

Advantages: Very cheap flights to alternative destinations.
Disadvantages: You get what you pay for!
...time.
A Brief History…
An Irish airline, Ryanair is Europe's largest low-cost carrier founded in 1985 by businessman Tony Ryan. It currently operates a total of 300 low-fare routes between 130 airports in 20 European destinations and two in Morocco. I find it remarkable that what has evolved into the world's most profitable airline stemmed from a single 15-seater aircraft flying just one route. Indeed, after the introduction of a second aircraft ...

Ryanair all the way
Review of Ryanair - RYR by

Advantages: Cheap, good service
Disadvantages: Having to get to Luton airport
...our bus, there was a Ryanair man in the terminal to take us out to it and to help us load.
Pity I didn't win the prize on the fundraising Lucky Scratch-n-Win ticket which Ryanair promotes to raise funds for children all over Uk and Europe!
Luckily I was travelling with a girlfriend who travels light, because I do not! My suitcase contravened the 15kg limit by a kilogram or two!!! Because we were travelling together I was allowed some of her ...

Ryanair get you there
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
carolburns
Advantages: very cheap if you time it right
Disadvantages: Not much baggage allowance
After reading the review about Ryanair by Cindy1 I thought I would add my comments to this subject.
We travelled with Ryanair in 2003 and found the experience well worth trying. As with many things in lif, there were ups as well as downs (sorry about the pun there lol) to the experience but most were favourable
We decided in November 2002 to travel over to Germany to visit my brother in law and his family. They live just outside Frankfurt so ...

Cheaper than a superman outfit
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
Kingseany
Advantages: Cheap, increasing number of airports served
Disadvantages: No thrills, possible delays (like any airline)
...of flights I've made with Ryanair in the last few years, so think I'm just about qualified to give my opinion on them.
Background
***********
Ryanair have been operating since 1985, and now fly 15 million passengers each year all over Europe. They aim, to be Europes largest airline by the end of the decade, and the way they are going, this doesn't sound too much like pie in the sky. They manage to keep prices low by using airports "that don't ...

Cheap and definitely cheerfull
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
Scammer
Advantages: Very Cheap
Disadvantages: Very expensive in flight snacks
Ryan Air have amongst the cheapest Tickets and yet were one company to make a huge profit last year! How do they do it and what did I think of my Ryan Air experience? Well it all started in May this year when my friends and I noticed that GNER were doing a £10 rtn anywhere in the UK, so we were going to go visit some Uni friends who had moved to Ipswich. Travelling from Glasgow this was going to take us the whole DAY, also we had to go within the ...

Ryanair the LOW fares airline
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
proxam
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: basic service, lack of destinations from Scotland
Ryanair seem to get a lot of bad publicity and lots of negative opinions in newspapers etc. I don't understand it, it is after all a low cost, basic, no frills service. If you want extras try flying with BA, but be warned you will pay heavily for them.
I use this airline regularly from Glasgow (Prestwick) to Brussels or Frankfurt and although I have had a couple of delays, I have had delays with every other airline I've used.
I flew recently ...

Review of Ryanair - RYR by

Advantages: Cheap flights, painless booking thanks to the easy to use web site
Disadvantages: not many
...taxes.
I have used Ryanair on 3 occasions now and would highly recommend them to anyone. Their website, www.ryanair.com is very easy to use and their online booking service excellent. When they have the special offers on, the website can be a little slow and I was thrown out several times but generally it is very easy to use and very quick. It offers you several chances to pull out before purchasing flights and the full cost is broken down and ...

Sometimes you win.....
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
andymcf
Advantages: Cheap. Unbelievably Cheap if you look hard enough.
Disadvantages: You get what you pay for....which isn't a lot!
Ryanair is an amazingly cheap airline. Frankly, I don't know how they do it, sometimes - and yet they're profitable, so they must be doing something right.
At the price, you cannot complain about legroom, you cannot complain about the lack of an in-flight meal (especially when the flight is so short), and you should not really complain about the fact that - when they say they'll fly you from A to B - they actually land you at C, because their ...

my first time with Ryan
Review of Ryanair - RYR by
jools30
Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: late
This was to be my first time with Ryan. Yes, there had been others in the past but the first time with someone new is always meant to be special, isn’t it? Will they live up to expectations? Will it be a satisfying experience? Well, I was about to find out.
I had heard others tell of their experiences with Ryan – some had enjoyed it, others were more scathing. But I wanted to make up my own mind.
I was lucky that I had won the opportunity ...
