...found out first hand how Ryanair boost their takings. When booking in for our flight at Stanstead it was noted by the lassie on check in that I had made an error with my husbands name. Advantages: Some low fares
Disadvantages: Complete lack of customer care

...as a free ride. Ryanair is a classic example of this basic tenet. Gamble with your money, you may pay little and get to your destination on time (or near enough your destination!), but should you ever experience a problem you are on your own. This airline prides itself of NOT having a Customer Services department (actually there is a lady who answers letters in Dublin, but that's all!), does not carry unaccompanied children or disabled people. I have flown Ryanair on many occasions and always found them to be reliable, to interesting destinations and of course, great value. When I flew to Perpignan, the flight departed both destinations to the exact minute. We also managed to arrive half an hour before schedule on each leg! Disadvantages: ONLY FLIES FROM STANSTED AND THE PLANES ARE USUALLY DIRTY INSIDE

...best thing about travelling with Ryanair is that, as long as you book your flight far enough in advance, you can get a very good deal. Even when adding tax etc the prices are still a fraction of what you can pay with the other major airlines. This does, of course, depend on the time of year. Disadvantages: A tad like riding a school bus.

Ryanair was my second venture on a budget airline in about 8 years and I must say I was impressed. The booking system online was clear and concise although finding flights that werent already booked was time consuming. The check in was easy and to be honest I felt like I was getting on a train it was quite informal unlike some flights ive been on. ...I decided to go by ryanair since it was much cheaper. I arrived at Stansted airport a bit early, I got the tickets and waited. We had to walk to the plane but the weather wasnt that bad so it was okay. Ryanair have to be the worst airline I have ever had the mispleasure of flying with anywhere in the world. The first time I ever flew with Ryanair was with my girlfriend to Rome. Being generally relaxed people we didn't see much point in joining the huge queue to get on the plane in the terminal and ended up boarding the plane last, not realising that they do not offer to reserve you seats together. I have used Ryanair 3 times in the last 2 years and I must say that I have been happy with it in nearly every aspect! I have signed up to their newsletter and so I always get to hear about the cheap or "free" flight offers they have. Disadvantages: Disapointing in some cases

I have used Ryanair on many ocasions and i must confess they are most of the times ahead of schedule. Their fares get more expensive as the dates to travel gets closer. The staff is mainly friendly , the crew onboard is always friendly and eager to help you but won't accept any misbehaviour as they do in Easyjet , where they allow passengers to laugh at the crew during the safety demonstration, in Ryanair it's different your attention will be required! ... Having found first hand that Ryanair operates in complete violation of regulations, I will never fly with them again. Our flight was "delayed" from 22.25 to 11.15 the next day. Not a single member of staff was here to provide assistance. All passengers were simply abandonned past midnight in an empty airport with no information or instruction whatsoever. London Luton - Ryanair flight FR3402 departing from London at 7.10am... at least it should have done. A technical fault on our plane caused the flight to be delayed for over 12 hours, with no refund, no food vouchers, no apologies. Terrible customer service. There are no Ryanair staff in Luton to listen to your complaints, and even Servisair (who represent them) were not helpful. They were rude and seemed annoyed with the stranded passengers. Many ...
