I did travel with both English and French train and I can assert we are better in this domain...it maight be the only one too. I could make a list of the advantages but I would need too much space. Being brought up in England I've always tried to avoid trains, but when traveling on a budget in France I realised how pleasant it could be. Their trains run on time and they have highspeed trains which cuts travel time dramatically. And the best thing is the price, they have a number of discounts, especially if your under 26 you automatically get a very good discount. Plus if your only going one way you only pay half the price!
