SN Brussels Airlines (SNBA) is the phoenix that rose from the ashes of Sabena in 2002, the former Belgium flag carrier which went bankrupt in 2001. Advantages: Full service airline, frequent flights, reasonable prices. Disadvantages: The only direct flights are to Brussels!

SN Brussels Airlines was founded in 2002 when Belgian investors set up SN Airholding. It's now owned by Delta Air Transport - previously a subsidiary of SABENA which was spun off post-bankruptcy. The same company now owns Virgin Express.

This airline has been renamed to "Brussels Airlines" after the merger with Virgin. I was very happy with the service of SNBA. They had good tarrifs and good service. Too bad they only have one main hub in Brussels. They also have a loyalty program (called privilege) where you can get miles for British Airways and American Airlines flights. ...
