A dreadful experience - we were asked to leave a New Year's Eve event for the terrible crime of me having perched on the bar (I am a small forty year old woman). The staff bullied me out of the door and it took me several requets for my handbag to follow. For the record I was relatively sober (not surprising given the costs of drinks and the hotel's charming habit of adding an automatic 15% to drinks ordered - for "service", you understand). It has the feel of a cheap nightclub despite an okay location and I do not recommend it, unless you feel you might enjoy being treated like a small piece of mud. ...
