Advantages: Good location, good service & helpful staff
Disadvantages: Poor after service

We stayed in the Shangri La for 2 weeks in April 2006. I travelled with my family and we shared 2 rooms looking over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We arrived on our first day in Sydney and were really impressed with the hotel and its location looking out onto the Opera House and Bridge. i would recommend paying the extra as it was great waking up to the view every morning. ...and I stayed at the Shangri La in Sydney in March 2005. As I was 4 months pregnant we thought we would treat ourselves to a final blowout holiday before children began swallowing all our spare cash! The Shangri La did not disappoint us.
