Advantages: Looks nice in parts Disadvantages: Poor lighting in room, lack of sound proofing, lack of ventilation
...We stayed at the Sheraton Skyline on Bath Road, Hayes, Middlesex UB3 5BP for 2 nights in March 2007 for our 3rd anniversary weekend. We had stayed here twice (once for our wedding weekend in 2004 and for our 2nd anniversary weekend in 2006) previously and had pretty much known what to expect but I have to stay this was my most disappointing stay in a hotel to date. I'll come back to why shortly…
THE FACILITIES
The hotel offers 350 guest rooms with ... ...called Madhu's. The Sheraton Skyline also has a conference centre available which has 18 meeting rooms of differing sizes with broadband internet access available in most of these rooms. There are also video and teleconferencing facilities available.
MY EXPERIENCE
Now I'll get down to the real nitty gritty - my experience of staying at the Sheraton Skyline. Now this isn't all based on one stay, I had slight niggles on previous stays but this recent ...

Advantages: nice rooms, convenient location, lovely pool bar Disadvantages: Parking and food were a little on the expensive side
I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel near Heathrow airport in September 2007 before I flew out on my annual holiday. I booked this hotel because according to their website, it is literally on the doorstep of Heathrow Airport.
Room
Our room was located on the 10th floor but sadly the room overlooked the hotel car park but to be honest this wasn’t a problem because we weren't staying here for the view! Our room was very large, much bigger than ... ...hotel amenities
Facilities at the Sheraton Skyline hotel included an indoor swimming pool and a large Gym, both of which are free for guests staying at the hotel. Although we didn’t take advantage of either of these, we did take a quick look and they were spacious and clean.
The Sheraton Skyline also has its own restaurant but we took a quick look at the prices and soon decided that we would not be eating here - a basic main meal would set you ...

Advantages: Convenient location. Fantastic rooms. Marvellous pool area with bar. Disadvantages: Expensive dining. Hassle over late delivery of cot.
...reasonably late at night. The Sheraton Skyline finds itself nestled amidst a plethora of London Heathrow airport hotels and I’d find it hard, I imagine, choosing between them. We were flying into Heathrow from Glasgow and decided to book a hotel through Priceline. I made a ridiculously low bid of £35 (plus £10 tax). The Sheraton Skyline accepted it, much to my amazement. It was to be my first experience of the Sheraton brand. After two nights on ... ...hadn’t been committed to the Sheraton in the way that only Priceline can. I could have driven home. This was a luxury. In the end, I’m glad I stuck with the original booking. The hotel was certainly not faultless, but it was a very enjoyable experience once we’d ironed out the minor problems which, to be honest, would not be problems to the Josh-less guest. So, here we go...
We arrived and parked the car in a convenient parking space. The car park ...

Advantages: Great location, beautiful rooms, huge beds Disadvantages: Very expensive food and drinks, car parking was £12 a night!
...and I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel on 2nd October this year. I booked the hotel through priceline.co.uk and got the room for £51 including taxes, which I though was quite reasonable for a 4 star hotel.
Location
We found the Sheraton Skyline fairly easy to find. The hotel website allows you to print off a map and this made it quite easy to find the hotel if it wasn't for my boyfriend taking a few wrong turns! The hotel is on a large road ... ...expensive.
The Facilities
The Sheraton Skyline has a medium sized Gym (which is free to use if you want to!) and also a swimming pool, which is free for guests. We did not use any of these facilities but we did have a look at them and they were both clean and obviously well maintained. There was also a restaurant but the prices were so expensive we didn't bother. A starter was between £10-15 and a main between £30 - £40. We asked at reception if ...

Advantages: Great steak! Nice staff, lovely pool Disadvantages: Expensive breakfasts, room temperatures
I was lucky enough to stay at this Hotel while on a seminar through work. We stayed for two nights and only for the purpose of being constructive do i have any gripes.
On arrival we managed to find a car parking space easily, we had to wait to be checked in but not for long as the staff, having seen a queue steadily forming, rushed in to help and apologised for the short delay. I was given an 'Executive Suite' on the first floor whilst my other ... ...was unusual. As we were all carrying varying pieces of luggage, i managed to have a quick nosy at the other rooms before settling into mine. They all vary in decor and 'freebies', one of my colleagues was lucky enough to have two double beds - well one was at least a double and the other was half the size again! Some of us had free water ( i did not), others had mouthwash and a robe and slippers, others had a brand spanking new bathroom with black ...
