Advantages: Nice clean, reliable, well kept trains
Disadvantages: Colour on the trains!!!

Silverlink Trains, are perhaps not the best company, however, i would like to point out that since the introduction of the class 350 Desiro type trains, service has got much better, with approximately 3 trains ready in Euston any time upon arrival. Silverlink have a lot to explain with the interior of their trains being left as they were pretty much since Network South East, however they are still comfortable and kept well. Disadvantages: Very long journeys, late for meetings, inconvienient

The service provided by Silverlink between Euston and Northampton is shocking, that is putting it politely. A journey between Northampton and Euston use to take 70 mins, from what I recall, last year. Today, it took 95 minutes in the morning and 135 minutes when returning to Northampton. I have been using the Silverlink service from Gospel Oak to West Hampstead for the past 6 months, and only having a Zone 1 & 2 Travelcard, I thought I'd best check that I was covered for the Zone 3 station at Hampstead Heath which we just "scrape" into Zone 3 for, even though I have absolutley NO desire to get off at! Silverlink from MK to London is not a particularly reliable service but from Northampton to Rugby and beyond it is dire. I can take a bus to Northampton from where I live to go onward to Birmingham and the north but have to allow an hour between connections to make sure of making them as Northampton to Birmingham is so unreliable.
