    Advantages Advantages Best "All Inclusive" package I've been on!!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The public toilets, although spotlessly clean, still niffed a bit!!

    I stayed here at the end of August 2006 with my whole extended family (me, my husband, 3 year old daughter, 1 year old son, my Mum and Dad, My brother and his girlfriend and my sister and her friend - 10 in total). When we arrived my family (husband and kids) were given a lovely large room in the oldest part of the hotel; Luna, and the rest were roomed in the other part; Mares, which is about a 10 minute walk away through lovely paths surrounded by greenery. At first we were all disappointed about this as we wondered how we would find each other each day but there were free inter-room calls ... more

    Advantages Advantages Location, comfy beds and loungers, friendly staff (mostly),tours on offer

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Vegetarian Nightmare, Menu selections boastful(drinks too)not Cuban enough ?

    A generally friendly and efficient hotel. We travelled with Captivating Cuba. Overall despite hitting the end of a tropical storm we had a great time. Eco Tours did some great tours and we'd especially recommend 'Inside the Countryside' - an opportunity to see life for real in the rural countryside. Ask what tours are available-there are more than advertised generally. A word of warning to Vegetarians-this hotel really needs to get it's act together. Bits of ham hidden in pasta salads, rice dishes, green beans cooked with bacon thus making the sometimes limited food selection for vegetarians ... more
