Advantages: Reasonably Priced Disadvantages: Very Small Rooms
My partner and I stayed at the South Hampton Guest House for a weekend in early 2006. We choose the property because it was reasonably close to the centre of Cambridge Township (about 15-20 minutes walk) and also for it's price. We paid £45/night for the two of us including breakfast. The general décor was nothing to marvel about, a bit pokey and very old fashioned. However, keeping in mind what we paid our stay was reasonable.
The rooms (I think ... ...small side. Ours was fitted with a double bed, a single chair, one bedside table, a small wardrobe with several drawers attached and a tv mounted on the wall. There was a little side tray containing tea, coffee milk and a few biscuits. There was very little room for much else and we had to store our 1 suitcase on top of the wardrobe. There was also an en suite with a toilet and shower.
