Advantages: Its quite nice Disadvantages: The people who never leave
I lived in Splading a few years ago. It may have changed a little but from my last visit it had not changed alot. Also it had not been reviewed yet and I thought I could mention a few things
There are all the normal shops - Boots, WH Smiths, New Look. A bunch of restaurants and loads and loads of pubs. The Poacher - where people who have go who have gone to University and come back for the holidays.
The Black Swan - Indie
Punchbowl - used to be ... ...very very very horible, could have been nice.
The White Horse - nice (and cheap) and lots of horse brass
Brennans - Guinness
And many many more.
Once a year on May Bank Holiday weekend is the flower parade. People supposedly come from around the world to see this. What really happens is that you get a bus up to town in the morning, go to the supermarket and then head down to the river bank to drink. At some point in the late afternoon someone ...
