Advantages: Very good prices, high quality ingredients Disadvantages: Forget your diet!
'Spices' in Wollaton opened on November 2003. The adverts in local nottingham papers promise you'll experience the cooking of a well recognised chef, Renu Miah, who'd been the in the business for 20 years. Heralding it as the long awaited addition to Wollaton's range of eateries (it's already to home to the fantastic 'Mr Mans'). An unusual promise made was that of secure parking for customers. The restaurant is in a 'Rotunda' or round style building which my friends tell me used ...

...and my partner visited the Spices Restaurant last weekend. After eventually finding the website which is actually listed as Spices of Wollaton, we were able to get a idea of what to expect in terms of the menu although it was quite blurred making it hard to read. Nevertheless we booked a table for Saturday evening.

Advantages: Parking is brilliant and location is convenient Disadvantages: nil
My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant for good reason: the quality of the food is exquisite, especially the specialty dishes. The chef is versatile on the range of Indian cuisine. One of our favourites is the Genghis Khan masala - truly fit for a king. What sets this place apart is the ability to experiment on enticing new dishes and combination of flavours, yet keep the tried and tested favourites on the house menu.
Renu is an excellent ...
