My girlfriend and me stayed at the St. Giles hotel while visiting London as we were going to see the Backstreet boys, well I was dragged along.
We looked everywhere over the Internet and the St. Giles was the nicest one we could find ... ...hotel is just off Oxford Street and near Tottenham court road tube station. Therefore it is ideal for shopping and great for getting on the tube to other destinations. There is also a theatre where you can watch musicals just up the road about 100 meters away so you do not have to worry about taxi's and getting home if you go out for a few drinks (there are also a few pubs just around the corner).
