Advantages: very american, nice atmosphere, great coffee Disadvantages: prices are high
I've always preferred drinking Coffee to Tea and now with the re-emergence of the Coffee Bar, I can indulge myself with a REALLY Good cup in pleasant surroundings.
Now that the Chain coffee houses have arrived on our shores and in our town and cities, my choice is always Starbucks. Not only does it feel quintissentially American, but the coffee tastes just as good as if you were drinking it in L.A, New York, Chicago or wherever. I can say that pretty ... ...L.A and Chicago (does O'Hare Airport departure lounge count?) OK I know it costs a little more than going into Littlewoods or Marks and Spencers or even - god forbid - that grimy cafe round the corner - but the pleasant surroundings the aroma of just exotic coffee, can make you dream your are not actually sitting in the middle of Milton Ketnes shopping centre!
I like a nice cup of Latte or Cappuchino, nothing too exotic, but I'd try something new ...
