Advantages: Great food and good value lunches Disadvantages: Very busy at weekends
Sukhothai Palace has been going for just over a year - we first went just before Christmas 2004. It has since become a regular haunt and the only place we will now go for Thai food in central Brighton.
There is a huge range of dishes available from old favourites like Green and Red Curry to the wonderful Gai Yang Takai and Haw Mok curry. It can be very busy at weekends now and a bit hurried but the food quality hasn't slipped a bit. I would recommend ... ...single dish meals served with rice or noodles. It's a good way to introduce yourself to the place.
Only Mai Ped and King and I come anywhere near Sukhothai for quality but I would still put Sukhothai at the top, equalled only by Thai Connection out in Hove. ...
